I've been looking at tripage's pegs and i noticed he offered red or amber anybody got a pic of their pegs with red leds? if so plz post a pic

they come in 2 color in case you want to mount the brake light on the red ones .....

turning signal should be amber anyway .....

I was looking at the LED pegs as well. I want to use them as blinkers, but was thinking I might also hook them up as a brake light a well. Amber is great for blinkers, but I think it might look strange if they lit up amber when I brake. Do you think I should just skip using them as a brake light (is tail light enough?) or should I go for the red LED's in the passenger pegs? Thanks

From a safety point of view, I would think having them as blinkers would be more beneficial. If you're stopping, it's not really important for people beside you to see your signals and the stock brake light is good enough for anyone behind you to notice. When you're signaling a turn, you'd want to light up as many places as possible... especially if someone two lanes over is doing a quick double lane change.

Maybe you could also put in a brighter brake signal.

I agree, i hate those double over F*&#ers. I'd go with the amber turn signals. I'm planing on picking up a pair myself.

I have made a few sets of these. It isn't very hard, just tedius and time consuming. The results are very nice and you don't have to have any unsightly rear turn signals.
