Hey everyone! I just got my Leo SBK slip on for my 07 600RR. The instructions.... how you say... suck bag. Anyways I have two questions about it if anyone can give me a hand. (You can talk to me like I know what I'm doing, but have something that has crappy instructions.)
1) When I bought it, it said there is a removable silencer. Where is it and how to I take it off? Part B) Is it easy to put on and take off w/o removing the exhaust?
2) There was a loose piece in the box. Looks like a flat round disc with 5 holes drilled in it. What is this and what do I do with it?

Thanks everyone!

That loose piece is for the Euro bikes, just toss it. The removable baffle is at the exit of your muffler. Just take out the allen screw out in the bottom and wiggle it out with some needle nose pliers.

Edit: The baffle is easy to take out. If you rather it be a little quieter just slip it back on and screw the allen back in it. You can do it while the pipe is mounted.

Thanks! So, I'm assuming it's the thinner tube insert? Is putting it back in easy? (I live in a gated place with townhouses and there are walls.... it's like having my driveway under a bridge. They hate me enough as it is)

Yeah, just unscrew the allen underneath, insert or take out baffle, screw allen back in. Easy. But the bike is gonna be really loud with it bouncing off of walls. I easily set off alarms in Parking Garages. Try it and see if you can get away with it

And yes is is the insert.

I'd leave the insert in for street use... Doesn't hurt performance much, but then again without it in my race bike is still quieter than most other aftermarket cans. Here's some photos of the insert on my '05 Leo SBK:

AHHHHH! Excellent! That picture is INCREDIBLY helpful. So... my confusion came from the fact that that allen is connected to the outer tube, but i didn't realize they go in and connect together. Savvy?
