Is it normal to take a whole week for an order to be processed? I placed an order online 7/31 and received an email that the order is "processing" on 8/2, today another email saying it just shipped today. Has anybody else placed orders and taken this long? I'm not in a terrible rush for these items but it just seems excessively long for it to be received. I know it's not the distance, I have received items from cali within 5 days of ordering.

Well, maybe STG don't have to item and they need to get the item direct from the company, that's why it took them too long to ship the item. Normally, item will be shipped out 3 or 4 days after placing an order.

I placed another order with STG a few weeks ago and same as all the others ordered early in A.M and always have my products in 3-4 business days

I guess i'm just lucky. when I placed the order all the items were in stock so I don't know what's going on.

mine even worst.....i order it the 1st week, they reply me on the 4th week of the month and the item reach me in the 6th week....last time is fast...but now is extremely slow

call STG and talk to Jason. he has done a great job with communication through my experiences with him and STG.

had a great exp. after buying a helmet from them, i just bought a set of tires last wed/thurs, he said they would be there sat, and they were.

i have had really bad communication breakdowns with another vendor from this site- it happens sometimes ya know... just try to call them and tell them whats going on.
if they are worth anything they are going to do what they can to make you feel better ya know.

All my transactions w/ STG thus far (at least 4 and counting) have been super easy and quick. Both on the phone and on the internet. I've always had the product either ship the same day or the next day afterwards.

So if something is still in a pending status, call them. It certainly is unusual. Perhaps it is a software glitch, or an error on the part of their credit card processing company, or an error w/ your bank.

The boys (and girls) at STG will take care of you. They've ALWAYS taken care of me. (This includes purchases and returns). I have a customer service background in the past, and I recognize it immediately. As a result, I'm very loyal to companies that take care of me. If the boys in sales can't assist you if they are busy, someone in the firm will, whether they are in the warehouse/shipping, or if they are in the reception area. They never told me this. This is just from my interactions w/ their team on the phone. Which reminds me, I need to thank everyone there...

^ Kidding, on a serious note - just call 'em up and ask what's going on next time you run into a situation like this (with ANY store, that is).

Any number of things could have resulted in that short delay: maybe they were coming back home from racing that weekend or they were awaiting further product shipment from the manufacturer(s), etc, etc...

I'm glad I can just drop by their store in person whenever I need something; sure beats waiting for a package to be delivered by UPS or FedEx. :)

i dont want to completely speculate, but i assume it was an item that we needed to order. ordering on sunday you have friday night, all of saturday, and sunday as well in front of you. mondays are slammed and we're lucky to get all the way through our online processing in the 10 hours we're open.

if you want to email me direct i'd be more than happy to look at your order. to be honest we prefer to take orders over the phone. online is nice and quick, but if something is not in stock it's easier to give someone a heads up. i have a TON of stuff in stock, but sometimes we get caught needing to order something.

LOL, it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I was just wondering if there was a problem since processing from other places is usually instant.

Not only do you get orders processed right there on the spot but when you order with Jason he helps you decided what's best and saves you a lil extra cash. All my orders are over the phone at STG and I've never had a problem reaching them or getting help.

this is def a good idea,

every time i call jason and order something he always leaves me feeling better than when i called.

you know, little things like, your hair looked good in that pic you posted up on dotnet, or you have a really soothing voice im sure you do well with the ladies, or other sweet nothings like that to lift your spirits. (no homo)

thats the truth of why i order form STG
