I went back from a humor show and I saw that the gas cap of my mom's car was opened. Then I thought that someone put some sugar in it and look what I saw lol

The guy from the gas station forgot to remove the gun or break it off in it and my mom payed and go. and never saw a thing . Moms are so cool

hahaha. I see that sh!t every now and then, I hope it never happens to me.
The last time I saw that happen...a lady pumped gas,
put the filler gun back and went straight into the car wash....
gas cap dangling, gas cover open and high pressure water bouncing it around...
:dontknow:

i think in some places (new jersey) it's a law that you can't pump your own gas

stupid, though it SHOULD prevent things like this from happening when you have a highly trained gas pumper to do the work for you /sarcasm

Yup, full service in New Jersey. You're not allowed to pump your own gas. And, there are wicked power outages (not storm related) during the summer. It's weird.

that is messed up right there.... and i don't know that i would want full service... it hasn't been here in years. just the thought of them spilling gas all over my bike and such. i would rather have the control of doing it myself i guess.

wow, that is the weirdest thing. i've spent time recently in michigan, illinois, indiana, and california. i haven't even SEEN one full service station. and then you have a state like new jersey where EVERY station is full service? anyone know why it's completely the opposite? lots of gas theft?

The garage I go to is full service (Its also where we get our cars serviced), but whenever someone pulls up on a bike they give them the nozzle. I was told they do this because of the proximity of a hot engine to the gas tank and they dont want to be held responsible if for some reason it goes boom. And for those of you wondering why I would bother to pay full service when I have to do it myself, its for the highly enlightening conversation you get from mechanics ;)

ive heard this to about NJ

but in NY where i live, around albany, there are a few full service. but not like ur big mobil or anything.

one normal one i see is some little like citgo private owner one. but i never go there.

i have never seen a nozzel ripped off, but i have seen people forget to close it up.

what i hate about gas guns on some stations is that it has that stupid rubber thing on the nozzle. then when im done filling my car, gas leaks on the side of my car. why cant they just take off that stupid cover off the nozzle?

Extrememly lucky it didn't rip the hell out of the car! This girl I knew in high school did that and it f-ed her car up pretty bad.

Yup...Oregon also. We have stations here called Swifty where it's nothing but full service but every other station is self(unless your handicapped).

full service? no thanks. thats extra money! its usually more expensive than others, and i usually tip the guy when he cleans my windshield and rear window.
