im almost done painting my set..........fuckin fitment is right on! thick as hell yet light and flexible. i would put them right up there with sharkskins. no question in my mind. come primered, just sand down with a 400 grit and go to town. im using plastikote aerosol...."body shop paint" and they are coming out sick!

give matt a call and order up a set today! he could put hotbodies out of business if the advertising was there
Thanks Pilot. That is exactly what I wanted to know. I'm going to go with flat black but not sure on spending big bucks on the colorrite paint or going with an enamel that is semi-cheap but will work with the flexible glass.

Did the stock windscreen work?
no problem. shipping is pretty fast too....not super fast, since it is made out of house and is made to order. so that takes a couple weeks. but definetly worth the wait
matt is the owner of mdracingstp.com
Matt Drucker is a honest and cool guy...

we have his last years race bike here....as a shop toy
Pilot,

How did you meaure up the holes for drilling? Are all the holes pre-marked as with some of the other types out there? The holes for the air ducts have me concerned.
every hole is pre marked, even the windscreen holes. i'll fill u in on how the airduicts work out this weekend
550 shipped or maybe thats not including shipping...i forget....but either way still an awesome deal

That is an awesome deal......and that's with a tank cover?
I also have the MD Body work, I had the first set so fitment wasn't so good but they fixed it, I compared it to my buddies Sharkskins and the quality looked identicle! Haven't crash tested YET but my first race is in 2 weeks.

whats up stumpy, its 600rrpilot from the infamous cbr600rr.com :D anyway. yea as you can tell you were right. this bodywork is awesome. i couldnt beleive the quality of the product. im hoping to not test its "crashability" this year though. im still paying for last years  when/where is year first race?

chris
I had sharkskins on my F4i last year that had been patched and patched again, I crashed HARD in the kink at Road America at 140mph, That body work disinigrated! I could not beleive it. It looked like a yard sale, I got my moneys worth though:) I am racing in Topeka Kansas next week, Its 16hrs away. But it get me away form the 5' of snow we have here. Check out my site to see my results 8) First race as expert

That is a good price. But I have a set of sharks right now, but if I do get a new set it will be armour bodies.
I just ordered a full set plus D clips for 585.00 total including shipping from Matt. The only bad thing is that he is swamped and won't have the fairings done for another two weeks or so and my first track day of the season is the 25th of April.

Nothing like cutting it close. :(
i have a question about the MD bodywork. i want it, and all my bodywork is destroyed (check my other tread, "hit by an cager") but my bike spends alot of time at palomar, and i don't want to have to truck it back and forth, i don't have a truck anyway. so.... is it possible to modify the upper and tail to accept the stock headlight and tailight? i have seen it done on a set of hot bodies but i didn't get a chance to talk to the owner about it. (by the way that is carl on the black 600rr that rips palomar, if anyone knows him and could point me in his direction)
thanks
Still waiting for the fairings and my credit card hasn't been charged yet. Sent Matt an E-mail to find out what is going on. :(
