hello i have got a 2008 CBR 600 in my micro sprint every race it over heats too the point where my leg feels like it burning from the heat.

I have raced it twice now and same dramas happend both times it has a small thermo fan be hind the raditor which some time seezes up which does not help i know lol but when it is going does not seem to change the out come. we put ducting from the front of the race car up to the raditor to try to create more cooling but outcome was still the same.

Im have been running 25W-50 with litum plugs in the motor and the carbie have been jetted to methonol.

My pit crew and i thought it could be the radiotr cap not working correctly but it is a new one then we thought the water pump mite of packed it self in however we can see it clearly still works.

My other micro has a yamaha in it would it be possible to put those carbies on to the honda has any one doone this as i have been with yamaha for the past couple of years and here in AUS there are not many people racing the hondas in the Formula 500s (micro SPRINT)

CAN ANY ONE HELP ME PLEASE

these bikes need a lot of airflow across radiator, if working hard. !

might try a bigger fan behind or a couple of small ones, but getting better airflow into the radiator probably means some rework of air induction to get a lot more air flow through the radiator.

ps oil is not right weight ? if causiing you probs now or later....

running methanol in it ! through the carbie?

no carbs on an 08 600rr......how did you set it up to run methanol?
