Here we go, hoping for a better MotoGP race. Moto2 and 125 didn't disappoint tho.

With more than 60 years of history Silverstone has become one of the most prestigious venues dedicated to motorsport. Completely revamped in recent years, a multimillion pound investment saw the completion in 2010 of a first phase of works to greatly improve the venue, making it one of the fastest tracks on the MotoGP calendar and earning high praise from the World Championship riders who enjoyed the new layout. The ‘Silverstone Wing’, a state-of-the-art, multi-million pound new Pit and Paddock Complex, will welcome MotoGP in 2011, thus adding to already breathtaking facilities at Silverstone.

Man, all he wanted to do was start, get a couple laps and come back in...

“I'm a little bit disappointed with the decision not to let me ride because while it's not a lifelong ambition never to miss a MotoGP race, it was a run I was pretty proud of. I understand the decision but my shoulder feels great. Dr Xavier Mir has done an amazing job on my collarbone because it was smashed, but it was never my intention to do the full race.

"I just wanted to start, do a couple of laps and pull in. I only considered it because I was here in Barcelona and it seemed pointless breaking the streak. But I'm too big and too old to get upset and I'm going to rest up now and concentrate on getting ready for Silverstone."

Pedro has nothing on Stoner. I love watching that kid ride, he looks like hes on the edge the entire race and is not phased by riders behind him.

Pedrosa will miss this round as well.. Goodbye Championship???
There's some conjecture that he did something in between LeMans and Catalunya to have aggravated the shoulder. Even so, he pointed out that he doesn't want to return unless he can win races. To me, it's that kind of attitude that's going to make his championship chase even harder. He said he doesn't want to just ride around and make laps. Here's the deal though: We all know how perilous GP racing can be and you never know how you're going to score points. In Dani's case, he needs to score points to keep the gap manageable. Colin's come back in one race's time. Yeah, he's back of the pack, but he's Colin. You'd imagine then with the talent Dani has, he'd be in point scoring range. It's this worthless attitude that will see Dani gone from the Repsol team. He's had more than enough time to contend for the title and has come up short every year, with not enough wins. Stoner comes in in his first year and tears up lap records. Repsol doesn't need a Dani in the garage any more. Save the money. Bring up a Simoncelli and Stoner garage. Drop Dani down to a satellite team.

If the race stays in the wet we may see Cal take his first GP podium...

Rossi is def not happy. I didnt catch the session today but was reviewing the times, saw Nicky and was like, wait, where is Rossi? lol

Should most definately be an interesting race. I still think Stoner will take the "W" but 2 and 3 could be a crapshoot.
