The exhaust on the honda MotoGP 800cc bike looks intriguing. I can't seem to fugure out where the exhaust gases come out from. Can you?

The exhaust is directly in front of the shift linkage.

theres a current thread about that here. it seems the exhaust is near the shifter AND Brake levers.

i think it's for aerodynamic purposes, to straighten up the air going over & after the rear tire, imagine the airdrag an open wheel set-up can generate so i think HRC is trying to free up some HP via better aerodynamics.

There's a lot of stuff they could have added to the RR but we won't go there. At least not in this thread...haha

Anyhow, I really love what they (all five makes) did with the design of the 800cc. Such radical changes, IMO. I hope they change their paint scheme around as well.
