When: February 16th 2004 - This may be a Holiday for you.

We still have spots left! Call me to sign-up... it will be AWESOME!!

Cycle World will be testing 4 sportbikes that day... but they have not told me which ones... they are being really secretive about it.

My guesses are:

- 1000RR
- GSXR- 1000
- Kawi 1000
- R1 (2004)

Should be a GREAT DAY of riding!!

Thanks... Nick - MRI

Thanks to all that made it out. I did my rounds to meet and spend some time talking to all of you. It was a great time. The weather was AWESOME... everyone had loads of track time, was FAST, and most importantly SAFE!!

I wanted to get more track time in with the 600rr.net friends ... but was ABSOLUTELY EXHAUSTED from the race weekend... so felt it safer to spend more time sitting in my recliner chair underneath my Eazy-Up or putting around on my pocketbike.

A few things to note:

- Dennis (600RRinSanDiego) came out to the track for the first time ever... and was able to go through a set of knee-sliders in his first track day ever!! I was watching his lines coming out of the skid-pad... was VERY IMPRESSED as he was passing people in the straight-away coming up to turn 1 at about 120 mph. Great stuff! I promised him that he would be dragging knees by the end of the day... but didn't expect him to need a new set of knee sliders!

- racerxlilbro was blasting around the track... smooth as butter... very fast... on his moriwaki equipped metallic black painted very trick race RR.

- Brian V. - another board member... and also track newbie... had the biggest grin on his face. his knee sliders almost worn down to his leathers... blasting his diablo corsa shod black RR around the bowl and through the chicane with ease. Cool stuff!

- The CYCLE WORLD guys were out doing their "shoot-out" between the new Gixxer 600, Kawi 636, Yami R6, and Red/Flat Black 600RR. It was cool to watch.

We really hope you had a loads of FUN... and join us again at the BIG TRACK - Willow Springs Road Course - on March 22nd, 2004!!

Many thanks again!!
