Ok, answers in bold. Hope thats what your looking for.

What are your views on this Genre of music? Do you listen to it? (Why are Why Not) Not a fan, in fact far from it. As far as I'm concerned music requires just one thing - a melody. However if someone chooses to sing then they had best understand the concept of pitch and be telling a coherent story.

What do you consider Hip-Hop? Something that closely relates to rap, that is typically sung by youths as a form of self expression.

Do you consider Rap music Hip-Hop? No, very similar but rap music is somewhat more percussive and the artists more culturally diverse

What kind of music do you listen to while riding your RR? The sweet sound of the tail pipe, if I could stand to wear earphones I would listen to Australian country (slim dusty to beccy cole and everything in between)

Has Hip-Hop influenced your life in any form? Nope, other than my choice of tv station on a sunday morning (they have some music tv show on at that time)

Do you believe that Hip-Hop music is only for a specific race, age, gender or class? If so please explain. No, however as a generalisation it would seem that the majority of hip hop singers are young african-american 'urban' types

Does Hip-Hop music have a direct correlation to the amount of violence in today's society? Now I would like to see you prove / disprove that given the number of variables to take into account. Talking about mental health on that scale would take one hell of a epidemiological study!

When were you first introduced to the Hip-Hop culture? Probably high school, in music class but may have been before then. I don't really know

Where was Hip-Hop created? America - not sure what city, I believe sometime around the 70s maybe even really early 80s

*** and additional information you would like add?

Answers below :shakehand

What are your views on this Genre of music? Do you listen to it? (Why are Why Not)

- Yes, I listen to it. When the lyrics and the beats are good, it's entertaining. People should not take it to the heart because one person is expressing their feelings through their music.

What do you consider Hip-Hop?

- Rap with a mix of soul.

Do you consider Rap music Hip-Hop?

- Yes

What kind of music do you listen to while riding your RR?

- Specifically, Eminem and Matrix Soundtrack

Has Hip-Hop influenced your life in any form?

- No. Like all music, for me it's meant to be entertaining. Same with movies and video games.

Do you believe that Hip-Hop music is only for a specific race, age, gender or class? If so please explain.

- No, music is chosen by preference and/or taste. I believe what deters people from listening to other genre of music are people that may categorize the listener. The fact that I listen to Eminem, I may be categorized as someone that hates non-heterosexuals and a violent person. If you were to meet me in person, it may never cross your mind that I listen to the artist.

Does Hip-Hop music have a direct correlation to the amount of violence in today's society?

- In the eyes of the media, yes. Personally, no.

When were you first introduced to the Hip-Hop culture?

- I do not have a specific time since I didn't even know there was a Hip-Hop culture. I just liked the music.

Where was Hip-Hop created?

- I believe in the East Coast.

yes i listen to it and i believe the genre is going down the tubes with all the mainstream garbage that people are buying and putting on the radio

What do you consider Hip-Hop?

its a culture...

"hip-hop is not, just a music, it is an attitude, it is an awareness, it is a way to view the world. So rap music, is something we do, but HIP-HOP,is something we live. And we look at hip-hop, in it's 9 elements; which is breaking, emceeing, graffiti art, deejaying, beatboxing, street fashion, street language, street knowledge, and street entrepenurialism - trade and business." - KRS ONE

Does Hip-Hop music have a direct correlation to the amount of violence in today's society?

no more than any other art form...its music...its intended to entertain you and (depending what you listen to) possibly provide a message...but it doesn't make you do anything...you make your own decisions and actions, no one else

When were you first introduced to the Hip-Hop culture?

i was exposed to the culture more when my family finally got cable and i could watch MTV since the culture is more of a visual thing...i was exposed to the music earlier than that, maybe when i was 13 or so

I don't listen to it at all, have a lot of trouble trying to understand the story its attempting to tell, and as such it has had no direct influence. Simple.
I cannot speak for indirect influences that I have no awareness of, but your question was not aimed that way.?.
