The dyno's haven't even hit the pages yet. I think people are jumping to conclusions far too early on this one.

you also forgot to put the following;

all new more compact & lightweight 599cc engine

4-1 exhaust system with exhaust valve (similar to EXUP)

improved midrange & top end power

new bodywork enhances handling & performance (in laymans terms it's more aerodynamically efficient less airdrag)

new transmission gear ratios (close ratio)

looks are only skin deep, it's what's under that counts.

if basing your bike purchase on looks alone you are looking at the wrong bike & you should set your sights on Italy where their bikes are true eye candies, buy a Ducati 749/999 or even an MV Agusta F4 750/1000. Japs build bikes on a philosophy of "function before form" & if it looks good then that's an added bonus.

Honda didn't become the world's largest & best motorcycle manufacturer b'coz of it's products are good to look at, it's b'coz their products are very damn good.
