Ok so I got my parts back from Tripage from powdercoating and I was going to put my case covers back on and ended up breaking off one the the bolts (kind of a long story). Well then we tried using an easyout to pull out the bolt and it busted off too! So basically now i'm F*CKED!! What should I do? It's on the alternator side and it's the top bolt. How can I get this thing out? Or what should I do?

this really isnt ne advice but i had a similar experience. I had broken a bolt on the gas tank and tried to use the ezout and i also broke one. i heard its better to use a socket instead of a drill since the drill goes up in RPMS real fast and then snaps the ezout. so yea, i dont like those things either

I thought about doing that but didn't know if it would still leak or if there is any reason not to run without it.....THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the bolt is on the top and flush put some extra honda bond over it and tighten everything down... Wait extra time for the bond to cure before starting the bike... Good luck. T

so u broke the extractor inside the pilot whole..those extractors are really hard to drill into..if theres enough meat u could drill the next size up and heli coil it...or if its the bolt near the top just add a lil more silicone there to compensate. one bolt missing isnt gonna hurt holding the cover on. i think ur fine anyway

this is just a suggestion but you could dremel a slot for a flathead in it with a small grinding bit...just stay away from the sides where the threads are.

Ya the easyout is still in there! we have tried drilling around the ezout to relieve some of the pressure to try and pull it out and use a bigger ezout but haven't had any luck. if I can't get it out and just don't use the bolt and put extra hondabond on it what should I do for the actual cover as for the hole in it? Use some honda bond to hold it in there? Superglue?

You might be able to drill it out with a cobalt drill bit...if you end up not getting it out, use the rest of the bolt
(the head end) put some goop on it and stick it back in the hole, you wont even be able to tell it doesnt go ll the way through. Try the cobalt bit first though.

I'd use goop, just fill the hole with it, and stick it in...the actual name of the product is GOOP...its pretty strong, it can be used on brake banjo bolts etc. instead of safety wire for most race organizations....jb weld would hold it as well.
