I need a new helmet, budget ~$500. I have a yellow '03 so I kinda would prefer it to match it. My head is 21.75" around.
I need something that flows alot of air, New Mexico summers are HOT.
I have tried on the Shoei X11 and I think it pushes on my cheeks a bit, but the salesman told me thats how they are supposed to fit.
To me, mostly all the helmets fit almost the same on me. I think I need more than 30 seconds to make a decision based on comfort.
I want something confortable and something I am not gonna waste money on, something that will save my head if it ever needs to, and still draws attention.

You need to go and try on some different brands to find out what fits you best. They're not all the same.

After that,we can help you find the best price and the color you want.

I've had 3 different styles of Shoei and they all fit the same.

With that said,I would go with the X-11 for the air flow if a Shoei fits you best.

I love the tomygun Arai.

Im sick of dudes that make comments like this.... Dont worry about it! I finally broke down and bought a Suomy. I love the graphics, but Suomy is about the worst fitting helmet for me there is. But it stretched out a bit and I love it. Get what you want.

It's bit retarded to spend $500 on something that doesn't fit right and may never fit his head like it did yours....Not all lids are the same nor is all heads the same.He needs to try it on before he buys one.

We say it for a reason. My friend and i both wear shoei Rf-1000s in Medium. They both fit us well and they are snug. I tried on a Suomy spec1R in a Large and it was VERY snug on me. My cheeks were getting jammed up in to my eyes, and it fit all my head very well. I ordered a large, and my friend was about to do the same, but just to make sure he went in and tried on the same large Suomy Spec1R, and it was incredibly loose on him. It shook back and forth when he wiggled his head.
The reason everyone says to try stuff on before you buy it is because we're trying to keep you from making a mistake. My friend just ordered a 2-piece suit he never tried on. Ordered the same size he wears in everything. It was way too tight, and incredibly short. Like, belly button short. These are things you can't get from a picture. Trying stuff on is important.

Get the shark. Its the best lookgin one, and you wont see it much if at all on other riders, because Shark lids arent that popular.
Dont follow trends, set them.

Have you seen the Vemar, Chris De Angelis Replica? Check it out, you may like it, i know where to get it.
