Picked this up last week. In process to convert it to a race bike for WERA and CCS.

2004 Aprilia RS250 with 400 miles and never been raced/tracked.

Very nice, I've always wondered how it would feel like to ride a 250...

It's a 2-stroke right?

Yes its a two stroke.

I raced a 1996 RS250 from 1997-2000 and this 2004 is pretty much the same bike except for the bodywork, different/better Aprilia Cup suspension and a coupe of more hp.
It weighs around 287 pounds dry, just under 300 pounds wet and makes 58-62 hp.

That's awesome...

I read in a magazine article that two strokes make all their power at the top of the rev band, and that once you get it up there it's best to keep it pinned and shift it so it stays in the sweet spot....

Awesome pick up. I hope to ride a two stroke 250 like that some day.

It'd be an awesome experience.
