Well most here may not like it but I love it! As some may know I had a severe crash (no it wasn't my fault, 2 cars decided to hit head on right beside me and take me out in the process) On with my story, I was trying to wait until spring and I was in a toss up between waiting on the upgraded 07 RRs (which after the release, sorry, but I just didn't like it) also *GASP* a Gixxer 750 or 1000, then my local Suzuki dealer put a Silver 06 M109R on his showroom! What a fight I've been going through internally.... Well, nothing against stunters or stunting but after my wreck and also being in the middle of raising my last 2 daughters at home, I knew I was eventually going to have a wreck that was going to be my fault because of my love of doing wheelies and stoppies, so I had to make that semi adult decision..... Well here it is, all 127 hp of it. If you have a speed question, yes it's very fast! Well it seems to be anyway, I've yet to fully get on it until it gets broken in.

And the Fat back end

My new Lid

Finally my new gloves

Hawaii50, with the power I've felt in the break in period, I think you're right, problem is this 34 year old, old fart will not be as temted to try a wheelie on this, as I was on my RR.

To all the other comments, Thanks guys, I know I'm really enjoying it.

I'm 34 too damn it! We are not old farts yet. I hear ya though...I will eventually move to something like that when I have children. I have two reasons for that...1. don't want my little boy seeing me on the crotch rocket 2. I am more likely to drive mellow on a more mellow bike. If I never have kids, I'll be on the rocket till I die.

if you're going to crop out people, don't forget about reflections... i can see people in the visor of your brain bucket...
Yeah no big deal, the one standing in the middle of the visor is my lower body taking the picture, the rest are just family. I had rode up to my Mom's and Step-fathers trailor (they live right on Lake Guntersville, which is a very nice State park area and a great place to ride here in Alabama) I cropped them out because I didn't want anybody making childish comments about my family members.

Hahaha, I just feel a lot older after raising 3 daughters and that awful crash. Just realize the bones doesn't heal like they once did. I do still feel young at heart though. Speaking of driving more mellow, I actually caught myself doing the speed limit this morning <G>. It's not that much more mellow though, A LOT of power, 127 rwhp.

Nice bike and gear. I've heard good things about the power and handling of it. The only detractant for me is the large rear fender and smaller rear tire. I like the fat tire/fender combo look.

I'm not really feeling it, but to each his own. Ride safe. Glad to see that your back out there!
Thanks, I really understand that "to each his own" comment. It was a battle of choices, one day I'd lean to Sportbike, the next to a cruiser. Like I said, thanks, I am glad to be back out there on my own bike instead of on my wifes Rebel.

damn that thing looks comfortable ..... congrats on all the new stuff
It is comfortable. OMG I was on it going the back way to my Mothers which going the back way is curvy and about 45 miles out of the way, so it turns a 45 minute 4 lane ride into a spirited 90 minute ride with NO uncomfort issues at all.
