Morning. I just received a new front stand and noticed the ABS speed sensor interferes with the stand's mount. I could move the stand forward but the stand’s manufacturer states the axle should sit directly above the front peg, as I show it in the pic.

Has anyone run into this on an ABS bike? I don't want to put the weight of the bike on the sensor mount, so I'm sitting tight before using it.

That doesn't look right. Are you sure they don't have another adapter to fit your bikes forks better? I wouldn't have any pressure on that sensor and holding the bike up with just one tong of the adapter doesn't make any sense when you have 2.

That's what I was thinking too. They have a lower tiple-clamp head lift option for the front stand, but these are the standard front mounts - bummer...

Well I prefer a triple tree mount just for easier maintenance but for now can you move the stand so that the rear peg is holding the fork tube? That way you could let the other peg rest on the front of the fork tube instead the ABS sensor.
