Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I put down a deposit on an '07 CBR600RR (blue) and am looking forward to contributing to this forum.

I've been riding a '93 ZX-7 for the past 8 years so this should be a fun change.

Let us know how you like that 2007 after you get it. Hey, looks aren't everything. ;-)

Wow so many friendly replies...so quick! I like this forum.

Ha ha I'm diggin the looks comment. Browsing through the forum, a lot of deep rooted CBR guys don't like the new looks, but this is one of the reasons I bought it. I've been drooling over the new R6 and I'm pleased honda decided to get a little more modern in that department.

I'll probably sell the ZX-7, I get the feeling it will feel very 'dated' after I ride a new generation bike.

Enjoy your new bike, if your not have to much fun come back and remember us over here and give us your opinions. Its going to be night and day I swear. I went from an SV650 to a 600RR and it was like going from a tractor (which was fun in the corners, torque kicks ass) to a jet turbine.

What's wrong with leg humping? :hump: Well, so long as it's a chick's leg.

Have you seen the 2007 CBR 600RR up close in person yet? Are you like some of the knuckleheads on here putting a deposit on a bike they have only seen a few pictures of? I would call the new fairings different, modern hopefully not. I hope this wack fairing trend fades and we get back to real inspired gp fairings as before. The 2007 Kawi's have good fairing style...and those bikes are up to date in every department. In fact, the ZX-10 has three buttons on the handlebars for switching between the three fuel maps they offer. Hey if you like the new CBR, rock it! It's all about what you want when it comes to buying a bike. Who cares what people will say on the streets. Look the other way when a guy on an 06 CBR 600RR pulls up and laughs at you. :p I have seen the 2007 CBR 600RR in person, not impressed with the looks...looks cheap, really hope it at least excels in the performance department to make up for some poor asthetics.

Welcome to the site. I would be interested in knowing what ya think of the new 07. Much speculation on it. This is a good site and you can obtain a wealth of knowledge as long as you listen to the right people.
