Hey all, I've been riding bikes for a while, but never one that I actually owned haha, just ones of buddies.

But now that I'm out of college and have a job, I'd like to get one of my own. Decided on the CBR600rr of course!

My only probably silly question is this. When taking out the swingarm to be powdercoated black, do I need to get an alignment afterwards? If so, is this something I can do myself? I've searched all the swingarm threads but couldn't find the answer.

Anyway, thanks for having me, and I can't wait to pick up my new bike soon!

Just the rear tire. But that's easy.

If youd like to do it yourself, its not that hard.

Just make sure you have the correct chain slack. Then, line the teeth up in the sprocket so they go into the chain links in the center.

Thanks, I saw the DIY Alignment with the string so I'll give that a try when the time comes.

Looking forward to asking more questions, but for now I'll just read as much as I can!
