I think most dealers work like this. If you find the right vendors though, you can still get stuff cheaper than most dealers, even if they give you a 10-15% discount.

Yeah but in a pinch if you need something a 10% discount is better than no discount.

Yeah, I usually just use those discount on cheap stuff. Like if I need a quart of oil, cleaning solution, etc.
