Not a crash but a close call

Had my first REAL close call for the summer yesterday. i was riding through a rural nearby town and some early 20's, blonde decided to back out into the road and not even look my way:retard:. Fortunately I saw her and was only going about 30-32 MPH (speed limit 25). There was nobody behind me as i came to a quick stop, glad i practice my emergency braking once in a while.

So anyway, after she backed out and turned to face my direction i honked, gave the whole one-finger wave:fyou:, the WTF look (visor up) and a lot of :cursin:behind the helmet. I felt bad for reacting the way i did at first because she started to get real teary eyed, and you could tell she was freaked out by what she did. But, then again, if i hadn't done that and possibly scared her then maybe she'll make sure to look both ways in the future.

MORAL: same as every "close call" thread....BE MINDFUL OF EVERYTHING AND EVERY PERSON AROUND YOU

After reading some of these threads... I'm definitely gonna heed that advice and make sure to practice emergency stopping as often as I can.
