Well its a bit of a story, but in the end I was unfortunate enough to get quite a bit of oil on a pair of Pilot Power Race tires. They had been used for one trackday, and sat for a while with the oil on them. I scrubbed them recently with soap and H2O, and they seem to look just fine. Have any of you had a similar situation? Does oil sink into tires after time, or will washing them take care of the problem? Would you have reservations about riding with them again? I'm thinking just scrub them in gently, and get the rest of the wear out of them. Thanks in advance!

Garrett

PS: Can you use Simple Green to clean off tires, or will it hurt them?

Tire bleach? I didn't even know they made such a thing. Cool!

Got any more pics of that bike? I like flat black paint jobs.
