vie got a 96 F3, ya i know its not an RR but im looking for help regardless. well a week or two ago i was riding to work and the dam thing lost power, dash stayed lit but the engine cut off on me and i couldn't get it to start again and had to have it towed home thinking id figure it out easily with my tools. well turns out it wasn't that simple for me :D It'll crank forever but wont fire.
things checked so far:
new plugs
resistance in coils
fuel flows fine out of the petcock through the filter and through the pump
the battery is fine, older but still starts the bike fine
i don't think it was bad gas because it ran for over 100 miles first
i wasn't out of gas, low but still not on reserve
note: reserve or on position for the petcock doesn't make a difference
we disconnected the side stand switch and it still wouldn't start
there is spark, we put the new plugs in the caps, laid down on the cylinder head and saw the spark
we made sure it isn't flooded just incase, plus we've had the plugs out long enough to get rid of a flooding problem. im at a loss, and unfortunately might have to bring the bike in to a shop this week. something neither my ego or wallet is comfortable doing

update, i have tried starting the bike while looking at the contacts on the fuel pump and they didn't move at all, i disconnected the output hose from the fuel pump to make sure it wasn't backed up in the line and still, no fuel pulsing from the pump while trying to start it. now obviously i know that the bike wont start since i just stopped fuel from going to the carbs but should the pump be working atleast when i try to start it? i know the new bikes the pump primes but im not sure if mine is supposed to as well. if im gonna try to jump the pump and skip the relay to check which is bad how do i go about doing that? im expecting someone here works in a shop and should know a little about this

There's a whole testing sequence for the kickstand switch, the fuel pump, flow, etc, but it'd take a while to transcribe. You check out Honda's service manual, it's available at:

How did the bike die, did it start chugging and sputtering a bit or was it sudden, like you just hit the kill switch?

kickstand switch is fine, theres spark to the plugs.
but when i try starting it no fuel comes out from the pump, its not even being pushed through by gravity but it is coming through the fuel filter. i disconnected the output hose from the fuel pump and let the output into a clear bottle. while trying to start the bike no fuel came out of the pump at all. im thinking if i try a gravity feed and it starts i can be sure its fuel delivery related. then i just have to check the fuel cut relay and the pump right?

sorry cbr most of us here dont have much if any experience with the older bikes. seems like you have done a good job trouble shooting and the fuel pump is a logical choice. it may be better to just get a new one instead of jumping it. but if you want to jump it just figure out which wire is positive and neg on the pump. you can also use a volt meter and make sure that the harness that provides power to the pump is working and there is power there. it would probably be easier than jumping any wires. good luck.
