of course the word random is a pretty powerful word when you think about it. I'm sure there is a cause. In 06, when it started to reset my ignition while riding. Causing the oil light to go on and the dash to reset. I noticed the ground wire of the unit was pressed a bit by my seat, but the rubber of the wire was not compromised. I didn't hack up the wire to check the internal threads, but I'm assuming this may be causing the problem. Also, as a second possible cause, I noticed my pc3usb is a little warped and banged up from the heat. the bottom of the casing has bulged out. Is this prone to heat damage? What the hell? I removed it and the problem went away. But I wanna put it back in for 07. How can I assure the integrity of the unit?
