Alright I've been following the instructions for the 05 install.

However I lifted the tank felt a little resistance and tried to look to see where it was coming from. Then the resistance was gone. One was the drain hose, the other I dont know. Drain hose is circled by a red circle and where it connects is in a red circle...and the 'unknown' hose is circled in a red box. Can anyone help?

See that little hose that's not connected to anything in the second picture? I think that's where you lost the other connection from.

Here, I added a red box to that pic.

P.S. That's a whole lot of wiring you got going on in the third picture.

Doh - it's been a long day. I had a Philosophy class from 7-945 tonight. got home and ripped everything off. Saw those two hoses and got a little worried since I'm getting a custom map tomorrow in the AM.

After a beer:all_cohol, hanging out with the girl for a little, I went back and checked it out...and saw that hose...came back up to the computer and checked this thread.

You are correct - that's where it goes...hopefully the hook up of everything goes alright in the AM. Starting the project at 0630.

haha, I hate those "Doh!" moments... when I finished installing my PCIII, I put everything back together, got all the fairings back on, thought I was all done... but then I noticed I had two bolts left over.

craig...im pretty sure your form the clifton area...let me know if you still have the problem, ill be more than happy to stop by and help ya out...ive installed a couple pcIII's
Hey thanks, right now the only problem i'm encountering is uploading the maps...it's an 05-06 PC on an 03-04 bike.

Another member had said it would work...or it worked for him on his bike, Im waiting on the west coast to wake up so I can call DynoJet to confirm if it will or will not work.

If not i guess it'll be back up for sale and I'll have to get a different one.

Also make sure the PCIII is powered up with either the little 9v battery attachment or by turning on the bike's ignition switch. The program should let you know when it's communicating with the PCIII.
