yeah thats about right i bought one a couple months ago because my blue ones burnt out. No problems thus far. It is only a little brighter then stock and is more of a true white color just bought it until i can get more blue bulbs.

I am thinking about getting the SIlverstar Ultra and doing the MOD until I have the cash to get the HID's after I see if I want them.. Those bulbs are $50/set. They say that they use 55watts but put out that of a 110watt bulb. I think it was 4000k..

I have the Sylvannia. I like them. The most white bulbs out there for the price. $50 for the pair compared to over $100 for the PIAA (Those are Canadian funds). The sun does not go down here during the summer until 10-11pm and up early(never really all that dark out). So for the price of HID's I'd rather spend it on other things for my bike.

Silverstars leaked out in my Prelude back then. I had a white glaze on one of my headlight that looked horrible and limit the light output on that side. I had to put the headlight in a oven to take it apart to clean it. I would not buy Silverstars again.

I have the regular silverstars on both my car and the rr, but i also get them for free. I havent had a chance to check out the silvestar ultras yet (im not sure about this, but i dont think they have the h7 version out yet). If you have extra cash, def get the PIAA bulbs, they are amazing and will last a lot longer, not to mention they are a lot brighter to. If you want the best, get HID.

I've used both sets, not on my bike, but in my jeep. Fortunately, I run HID's on my bike (definately the way to go). The PIAA's did last longer than the Sylvania's, but hey, thats the extra you pay for. If your looking for a unique Kelvin (color) range, you'll be better off getting the PIAA's.
