what's up with all the pop ups now? is this something new. don't sell us like that, pop ups are bad. they disrupt rythum and fluididity. i'd rather donate money to keep up the site than to have the pop up's. ASK US FOR $$$$ I'M SURE WE WOULD KICK DOWN SOME SQURILLA. IT'S SUCH A GREAT SITE, SO PURE AND INNOCENT.

No pop-ups here either, you got adware on your machine somewhere. Been there, done that, I had to reload my system to get rid of it. All the tools I had got rid of some but not the last persistent SOB.

I've had alot of wierd things happen to my computer since I registered sa a member of this site. I get emails containing viruses from emails that are the screen names of prominent members such as f4I guy, jetblast, even you lucky. Some times they are spelled exactly sometimes there's a number or something in it, and a wierd mail service. I get these emails every day sometimes they say [email protected]

Get Spybot also. Along with Ad-aware, you should have no problems with spyware when run on a regular basis. Make sure to update them before running.

yeah, i get those too sometimes. try a search for your screen name on yahoo, it will show up. i think people take that screen name and the site associated with it to try and send fake emails with viruses.

i have my outlook security set to not allow any attachments. if you really are expecting an attachment in an email then you can turn it off.

Like said before d/l the latest version of Adaware and make sure to update every time to use it. You should also be using some type of antivirus, currnenly I've had great luck with AVG from www.grisoft.com it is free. Also, you should try switching from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox. Even if you have spyware and virus's on your PC in most cases you won't get popups using firefox. Again, this is what you need:

Firefox

this site doesnt have pop ups.. dso you have a downloading program like bearshare which shows pop ups to like every site you go to? or did you click on one of those "THERE IS A VIRUS ON YOUR COMPUTER, CLICK HERE TO STOP THEM NOW!!" pop up windows. haha just download ad-aware and search and destroy from download.com and you should be good

I went to one site and got a million pops ups...Nothing since. The only strange thing that has been happening s that every time I click on a link to open, the new box that opens is REALLY small. So I have to enlarge it. Going to run adaware soon.

hey sideout, i think i know how to fix that.. close up internet explorer, open ONE window ONLY, extend it to the size you want.. and then close it and open IE again and the problem should be fixed

I have Adaware, Spybot, and I use OPera. No pop-ups here.

I did get a NASTY little virus from a file I downloaded on a warez site. It wasn't serious but it attached itself to all the exe files changing their size causing all kinds of lockups and problems.

So now I run Panda Antivirus Platinum. I'm covered...

Khm...I have done that. The odd thing is, when I open IE for the first time, my home page (600RR.net) opens full. But if I click ANY link, the new window opens really small.
