I bought a set of take offs with alittle more wear on the left than right and I've heard that you can flip them.... is this true?!

Just rotate them like on a car. Just remember to criss-cross.

Be sure not to get any blinker fluid on them.

Only cross the non drive wheels. You should move the drive wheels straight forward

You can with the metz/pirelli's because of the 0 degree belts...so if the michelin's have those belts go ahead....

I'd recommend not doing so, if it didn't matter the tires wouldn't have directional arrows. I know for sure on the bridgestons you shouldn't, and I'm pretty possitive same goes for the rest.
