Morning guys/girls,

Got a question or 2 for you regarding my stock 2008 CBR600rr. When coming to a stop either from fast or slow speeds, I can feel a pulse in the brake lever. From what I've read it looks to be a warped rotor, but I find that hard to believe in only 2,1** miles. Also the brakes are squeaking as if I need new pads, I looked at the wear indicators & there's plenty of meat left on the pads. The bike has seen 0 track days, only daily driving & no stunting/aggressive type driving or braking.

This can not be normal, was there a factory type recall on the front of these bikes? I find it very hard to believe it's time to replace or upgrade the entire front system already. If there's a post covering this I apologize, I searched already for "Squeaking brakes" & "brake recall". Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks for the tips Scorpion, I'll try that out this weekend. Braking isn't affected by it, pressure feels great while stopping. Minus the above mentioned.

A bent rotor would cause you too loose a firm feeling on the lever after the bike starts rolling. The bend will push the pads away from the rotor then the first squeeze of the lever will have to pull further in to get the bike to stop. Then ( as long as the bike is stopped ) the brake lever will feel fine.
My '07 has had a similar feeling for a long time. But it feels like it pulses like 10 times per wheel revolution. Some have just replaced pads ( non OEM) and it works better.
