So when i low slided my front break master cylinder reservoir basically broke. Its slowly leaking fluid so i want to get a new one before i get my new fairings. Since the bike is an 03 it has the big block style... what do i need to get a new one? will this work?

I think the best bet would be going in the classifieds and finding one. If you want the round type you can buy a used one from a 07-09 style bike. I believe they are easily interchangeable. There is a thread somewhere around here on the matter.

I think he still has his here The price listed is $75. It could probably be had cheaper.


Oh and to answer your question, with our style master cylinders, if the resevoir is leaking, you'll need the whole thing because they are connected.

I Think you need to replace the entire brake master cylinder. An accessory reservoir (your first link) will not work with the 03-06 master cylinder. You can either replace the whole assembly or switch to a 07+ master cylinder w/reservoir. Many people on the forums have switched to the 07 style master cylinder including myself:

This! It can be switched, and you need to buy a whole new master cylinder for a 600RR years 03-11 will work.
