Hey whats going on fellas? Im new the the board and new to owning a 600rr. I was reading about installing HID's and i know this is a dumb question, but what is the Fairing? I keep reading everywhere, remover the fairing for this or that.

Also Im trying to learn to work on it myself all around. Is there some good books for most maintaince like those haynes ones you can buy for cars?

The pieces of body work that are all over the bike are the fairings. The different pieces have seperate names...but in a whole they are called fairings.
