Background:

2003 CBR600RR picked up on March 18th, 2011 with ~19000 miles. This my first street bike but I have a tendency to mod everything I own in one way or another. I have put ~10k miles on it this summer so far (daily driver). On to the mods...

see you wanna do the white repsol kit...be cautious with motofans...their kit came messed up, didnt fit..had a run on the paint..it was a 2 day job to put it on.

Going to be getting a lot of flashy accessories in the not too distant future.

I'm having a hard time deciding on the colors though. Most of the stuff is going to be Driven brand and I like how the red stands out on the black/gray. I have new vinyls on the way that are white and red to contrast on the black so red is a natural choice BUT anodized red fades, bad. I really don't want a lot of pink parts after a season.

I have a garage now, so I don't have to let the bike sit out in the sun and fade. I was thinking of just going titanium, but if that fades it will be gray. Gray is better than pink though. I know there are products that you can use to protect/restore the color. Anyone have experiences with a particular brand, good or bad?

What did those wave rotors cost you, are they just random off eBay or a certain type? Also was the 05 swing arm a straight swop ?

I think I paid ~$300 for all 3, bought the fronts and then the rear later. They're made by Braking.

Swingarm is a direct swap, just a little time consuming. Make sure you get the entire rear end if you buy one. Axle, brake carrier and chain adjusters are different.
