Hey fellas,

Lowsided at gingerman a couple weeks ago. Then when I was trying to back up the bike to get it on the trailer it would occasionally lock the rear tire, but would roll forward fine.

Now I have the bike together again and the rear brake when its applied pulsates the whole bike. There was no visable damage to the caliper or rear swingarm.

Any thoughts?? Thanks guys

Something is bent.
Check your chain for bends in the links.
Check the teeth on the rear sprocket.
Is the caliper ok?
Have the pads come out?
Is the wheel buckled?
Worse case the wheel bearings are shot from receiving an impact.

I don't think its the chain or sprockets as its only when the brake is applied. But I'm going to run a dial indicator on the rotor tonight and teardown the caliper and inspect it. There was no scratching or hits on the caliper, but somewhere in the system something is a miss

Thanks buddy,

Runout measured 50 microns, well within spec. Ran on the street and couldnt feel and vibration under braking. Tore apart the caliper and everything looked good. Ghosts in the system?
