I have a vortex rear stand and i got no issue's getting it up on the stand by myself but my question is whats the best way to get it off by yourself? Even if i take my handle off it still slams hard in the rear of the bike into my liscense plate. I dont always have someone to help me get it off so any tips would be great.
P.s. Too lazy to see if there is another thread already

I have a vortex as well. I have never had it slam, I control the speed of it as I'm removing it by keeping pressure down on the handle. Once it's loose from the bike where I can remove it, I keep the bike up, and then slowly put it down on the kickstand (which is down before I do it).

HA. You dropped it yet? I take my handle out. Put my foot in front of the wheels on the stand. push my bike forward and it goes. There no going slow and i only got so many hands. lol Its easy as hell gettin it up i am just sketched out about dropping it while stand at the rear of the bike

as stated above... the bike should not slam down?? dont let it just flop on the kickstand leave pressure on the handle and you can actually support the whole bike by way of the rear stand putting pressure on the spools

I feel special ed right now. but my arms only reach so far and my stand sticks atleast 2.5 ft out the rear. So in order to do this i would have to crouch down to reach it for one. Two try to hold the bike one handed and set it down softly? Im going to lose this battle. And it dont slam on the kickstand at all. just the suspension

I have a vortex also, and it never slams down for me- It is harder for me to put the bike up than to take it down. Just keep putting pressure on the handle as you slowly put the bike on the ground- then slowly put on the kickstand.

i can have it up in under 10 sec. I have tried everyway i think possibly to bring it down slow and a no go everytime. Im very particular i can just bring it down slow and have it then just lean to the stand kinda on its own. When i get off i put my foot behind the stand and pull the bike back to make sure it is good and steady. Seen to many fall
