hey guess it's all about opinions! :) You're the first I see that preferred it that way, but I'm sure to see more ;)

I never noticed a lack of flick when I changed to the 209 190/60 but did notice a lack of initial turn in when I tried switching to a perilli 190/55. I thought it was because I lost that little rear ride height the 190/60 provided. If it did?

Anyone notice this?

I got a rebuilt shock (TSE) coming that is 10mm longer and I hope that will get my turn in back.

190 will fit. Make sure you have clearance at the shock link. I don’t know how much you need but the tire will expand at high speed and rub.

I'd say aim for at least 10mm clearance to give enough for tyre growth plus the fact that the clearance changes with suspension movement.

I can give suggestions of what gearing fits with a 209GP 190/60 but I'm running a longer chain so it won't translate over the same.

Can you? Yes. Should you? No. Save up an extra week or buy a cheaper tire in the right size.

I'm planning to get off-road tires as well so I'm checking 4wheelonline for their avaialble off-road tires for bikes. I also might consider a good set of street tires if there's one avaialble with minimal adjustments as possible.

Has anyone tried a 180/60 for the track?
Been running it for many years now on my race bike, Pirelli Supercorsa SC1, great tyres, more grip & traction than 180/55, just as big as the 200/55 tyre.

This is what I run, feels better than the 180.
Just put it on and 190 again.
