Removing Cats, is it possible?

I'd really like to get race headers for my '03 RR, but the thing is... I'm a cheap ass. Does anybody know any ways to remove the cats on this system? I've done a cat removal on an '07 stock exhaust, but the '03 has them in weird places if I remember correctly...

on my 04, i had the entire system removed. TI hindle headers and pipe. that gets rid of all that crap.
