I recently bought a carbon fiber Leo Vince slip-on for my 09 and put roughly 200 miles on it so far. I would now like to hear the difference without the silencer, so earlier today I tried to remove the allen bolt on the bottom with no luck. The damn thing wouldn't move at all.

As far as I know, here is how I'm supposed to take out the silencer:
1. remove the allen bolt on the bottom
2. use a pliers and pull the silencer out

I can't even get past step 1.
Is that the correct procedure?
Am I too late already to be attempting this?
Should I just take it into my Honda dealership and have them do it for me?
Any other tips would be much appreciated.

I did it to mine, that bolt is on there pretty good, you just have to muscle it. and when you are pulling the reducer out, you have to give it a pretty good pull. You're doing it right, you just need to put a little more elbow grease into it. And it sounds alot deeper, and a little louder.

Right on. Although I think with all the attempting to remove the bolt that I did today, it seems like I've started to strip it. I'll give it another try tomorrow, though. Thanks for the reply!

can u post some pictures id like to do the same thing but what allen bolt u guys talking about i got a 2 bro m5 slip on but i wanna take off the cat box (is that the silencer you guys talking about??)
