i just looked on line and the court apparently found me guilty for riding in a bicycle lane. i entered at the right turn lane at the broken lines 200 feet before the intersection. there was a police bike less than 100 feet in the intersection two lanes over. so he sees me pass him and gives me a ticket for that, saying i entered 400 feet before the turn.

any way my question the trial de novo, do they send me the forms and is there a way i can schedule a date since I'm in school and time is a massive crunch

thanks

They would first send you a letter saying that the judge found you guilty and if you would like a Trial De Novo, you would have to respond within 21 days or so. There should be instructions as well on how to fill out and submit that form.

You might want to ask that cop in the trial what 'measurement' tools that he uses to determine that you're within the 400 feet mark. By observation isn't going to cut it.

Good Luck!
