it's more of a question aimed at my d6

it runs out of revs really quickly

another 1000 would be great

oh well =\

so is there a way?

The rev limiter is there for a reason. Its set at a specific RPM to prevent damage being done to the motor. Unless you are changing the internals of the motor you better leave the limiter to where its set.

Aren, dude...you just got that bike...and you are already asking about how to push it into red?!?! Man, take some time and get used to the bike before you start pushing it. When I upgraded from my f4 to the rr I gave it a month before I started pushing it. You need time to adjust to the response of a new bike.

i had the D6 and i know what you mean about the low power... change the sprockets to get some more low end out of it... but i would not recomend doing anything with the rev limit... all that will do is damage the bike...

why would you want to over rev the motor and do damage to it??

question makes no sense..

exchange the D6 for the 600RR...

plenty of enough RPM to go around.
bah...that would be like buying a colour tv and then exchanging it for a black and white.

but you guys are right... I should get used to the bike before I start doing anything crazy

I'm sure the bike will shape up after I break her in

I'll just concentrate on some cosmetic mods for now!

well, personally, I think the RR is bland now

that's one of the main reasons I went with another bike

I still think the swingarm is smoking hot though

still a flawless bike IMO
