It rained in both free practices so these times are not necessarily representative of each rider's true pace. I will say though that if it rains it will be a Bridgestone podium sweep. In that case don't count Vermeulen or Melandri out.

Oh yeah, forgot about Ant West. He should be good to go if it rains on race day.

anyone else noticed that Lorenzo's best time in FP 2 on a 250 (1.33.312) is faster than Hayden's time on the 800 in FP 3 (1.33.4), which currently would be enough to put Lorenzo in 12th place on 250 in the 800 class. All that on the track with a 900 m straightaway and 42 kph difference in top speed!!! Crazy!!!

^^ that is impressive, but don't forget that the smaller bikes carry a faster corner speed a lot of the time

Seems like Hopkins has fallen off. He was doing good the first part of the year, he was getting a few podiums. I wonder how he is gonna do at Kawasaki next year?

Awesome job by Dani getting Repsol on the front. A very good effort put in by Hayden as well. Looks like Michelin have stepped up, at least in quali. Wondering how good they are going to be in the race. Can't wait!!

Casey will kick the crap out of everyone again. No one could match his race pace and he got (slightly) baulked 2x in qualifying. he will win again. I'm predicting more than 3s.

All hail King Casey.

Dude, did anyone see PEDROSA dump his bike next to Vermuelen? hahahhaha, wtf was that? Did he pull on the throttle too much or pop the clutch?

That was one of the funniest things I've seen in MotoGP. Hahaha, I think Vermuelen was laughing inside his helmet hahahaha

Poor Pedrosa (moron).

As for Hayden, I think the transition to the 800 has been particularly hard for him.

By no means do I believe he deserved the championship last year, but I do respect his work ethic and demeanor. He seems like a great guy.

Hopkins is just a puzzle to me. He rides well for Suzuki, and then jumps ship. Not quite sure why he does that?

I'm looking forward to a great race later tonight. I think it'll be a very exciting race between Rossi, Stoner and Pedrosa, with one of them crashing at some point. I can just feel it :p
