Just wondering what RPM's do you guys normally shift at. I know there's no hard and fast rule. This is just a survey of sorts...

anicca, Welcome! Don't worry about shifting to high. These engines are designed for it...

14.5k :D

Seriously though for maximum power anywere after 14k is good since the max power on the RR is at 13.5k RPM.

For street cruising, if you dont need much power, might as well shift early and get better fuel mileage.

quick question... i read somewhere here about up shifting without using clutch. how does that work? is it like power shifting a car where you just squeeze clutch halfway and let go of gas halfway and shift? or just not engage clutch altogether and shift? please explain, i've only been riding for 1 week :bounce:
