Anyone in San Diego have a front stand that I might be able to borrow for a day. I need to replace a rotor and don't have the cash to go buy a front stand to do it. I would pick it up and drop it off. Thanx.

if you are in a real pinch you can use two car jacks. not very stable but it should do the trick if you have someone hold the bike.

MY rotor still works it's just not as solid as I would like. I also need to get pads for when I switch out my rotor. I have the rear stand. I jsut need a front. I tryed a jack under the oil pan and that didn't work. I really don't want to use the jack stands but I may have to.

just put a rag on the top so they don't leave marks and you should be fine. or you might be able to use a cherry picker and lift it by the bars or triple tree. they have one at the auto shop in mcrd, miramar, and 32nd st.

not the ideal way to do it, but it should work.
