Does anyone have a diagram or even a how to or video on routing the exhaust servo cables back onto the servo motor pulley please?
I'm not convinced mine are correct and want to double check.
Thanks.

This won't answer your question, but why not just disconnect them from the motor, apply some zip ties, or simply cut them/remove them from the exhaust? Make sure they are positioned so the valve is fully opened before cutting/removing.

Or like me, just disconnect from motor, and let em dangle under the rear, F IT...

this will answer your question.

they route up from the valve, behind the frame spar, then they secure in a small plastic clip that's part of the under tray, then run in the trough in the undertray to the servo motor.

the attached pics are hard to tell, but you should get an idea from looking at them. apologies for how dirty the bike is, the GF never washes it.

I'm really sorry for my poor choice of wording. Especially after you've taken the time to take pics. Really sorry.
My issue is the servo spool. I can't work out which cable sits in which groove and also where the starting point of the spool should be.
Does bottom cable from valve go in bottom spool and top in top. As fitted on the bike?

There are only two ways to set it up. When you turn the key on the spool will open slightly, then close. This is it finding its home position.

The direction it first moves is the direction it will move to open the valve. Install the cables so the one that you pull to move the valve is going to be pulled by the servo. It should be pretty obvious

To be fair it wasn't and im not sure ive got it right.
I dont want to have to seperate the exhaust again to see the valve move to work it out.
I'm hoping someone can tell me which cable goes into which groove without stripping it back down.

it's pretty shitty that it's likely taken more time and effort on my behalf to explain to you how to hook these up than it would have taken you to just figure it out.

the one with the barrel adjuster goes on the bottom.

next time don't be lazy and find your own answers. forums are plugged full of "do this for me so i don't have to" threads.

Thank you very much.
I will now check if its right on my bike.

I did search, not only on this forum but also used Google to search all forums.
I just couldn't find what i needed..

Thank you very much for helping me out. Some people are just so.much better at digging info like this out, unfortunately I'm not one of them.
Thanks again. I really appreciate it.
