I purchased my 06 CBR600RR in January. Click HERE for the thread I started back in the day when I first brought her home for the first time.

Anyway, since then I've put over 11,000 miles on the bike, had couple spills here and there, scary moments all over the place, I pretty much loved her, cared for her every minute I spent riding this motorcycle. I truely had massive amount of fun on her.

Unfortunately, something told me this morning that I should sell her, so I did. I put up an ad for an amazing price and in few hours she was gone! I should've done just a few more wheelies before I sold her. I miss riding already.

I believe I am no longer feeling the CBR fever and I have decided to retire from motorcycling.

Starting tomorrow, instead of riding the ArrRRrr aRRrRRr, I'll be bicycling to work. My office is only 4miles away. I've always enjoyed the bicycling. It's quite the excercise and it's cool.

Here are the list of my gear I own. These are nice gear and everyone should WEAR gear at all time! PM me for reviews or pictures.

Alpinestars SMX airflow jacket in black
Alpinestars T-Venom Textiles Jacket in red
Alpinestars track leather pants with GP knee sliders
Alpinestars SMX PLUS boots vented black
Alpinestars GP-Tech gloves in RED
Alpinestars S-Octane Moto gloves in Black
Alpinestars Tech Back protector
Alpinestars Bionic MX knee guard
AGV Ti-Tech helmet solid black

Anyway, you guys are great. Kudos to the moderators for keeping this forum so friendly, and cheers to the fellow forum members who are always helpful and informative. Ciao.

EDIT: PS - Will NOT forget the numorous RR.net group rides. They were HELLA fun.

Too bad. Like I said in a previous post, if its not in your blood, its not meant to be. I will stop riding when they pry the throttle out of my cold, dead hands.

Best of luck to you, and if you want to pop in and say hi...feel free to anytime!

Slaps would give up riding, but hes living under the delusion he is Valetino Rossi's long lost brother...and that he will be on the starting grid for Moto GP next season.

I have done what you did. I thought I could live without a bike. Just watch, you will see...you will be back on a motorcyle within a few years. =-P
