Hello,

I'm selling my 2005 CBR 600RR Tribal for $3500. It has 1500 miles on it and was purchased in July 2005 so it's barely 7 months old. I was in an accident and need the money to help cover medical expenses. The right side of the bike is scraped up but the frame slider saved any damage from happening to crucial components. The bike starts and runs just fine. The front rim is bent and the right handle bar is broke, small dent in tank but just cosmetic and like I said fairings on right side are all rashed up, rear seat is gone. Anyway, still under Hondas 1 year warranty, this is a great price if you have the patience to fix it up you'll save yourself a lot of money. I have an Acumen Digital gauge indicator installed as well as a speedohealer, both very good investments. Oil has been changed every 300 miles and was changed after 60 miles of initial break in. Please contact me for pictures and more information. I'm in Southern California, Murrieta, CA to be exact. email is [email protected], phone # 951-757-8187

Southern Ca selling bike

Hey guys, I'm in Souther California-Murrieta, to be exact. Just thought I'd post up here about selling my bike since this is West Coast. I'm selling my 2005 CBR 600RR Tribal for $3500. No, I did not make a claim with my insurance company, I had liability only and on one else was involved in the accident so the title is clean.

Who the heck changes their oil at 300 miles and after 60 miles of break-in?

This ad just doesn't make sense to me. Am I the only one that is confused?

If you have pictures, host them for free at www.photobucket.com and post them here to the site. You can also host them on the 600RR site directly by uploading them to the member gallery and linking them in here.

PM's sent to those interested. What I meant was changed the oil after the inital first 60 miles and then every 3 months and/or 3,000 miles, on this bike it was every 3 months since there's only 1500 miles on it and had it now for just under 7 months.

i've been riding for 2+ years now, but i can honestly say, that had something like this happened to me early in the riding game, i would've quit for sure. even right now, if what happened to you had happened to me right now, i'd definitely consider hanging up the helmet. I know the more safe hours you're in the saddle, the better rider you are, hence helping you to avoid some situations. but some situations are unavoidable.

i hope something like this doesn't have to happen to me, so all i can do is try and be careful. that'll be my lesson learned for now.

Thanks a bunch guys, definitely appreciate the support. Well, here's the deal. I talked to my orthopedic surgeon and he told me that due to the severity of the comminuted fracture in my femur he said there was no chance that my hardware would be able to be removed from my leg in the future (titanium rod, 4 screws), and due to that fact he told me if I ever got in another accident again and something broke in that leg that I would probably lose the leg because the rod would stay in place and the leg would just tear up around it and they would have to amputate. With that in mind, I just have to hang it up. I'm getting married in 4 months (still won't be walking), have extensive medical bills to pay, and just need to look at what's most important in my life right now. I LOVE riding with all my heart and I'm not saying never, just not now. I have been riding dirt since I was 6, street for only a few years. One of those situations where my head wasn't where it should have been, took a corner too fast, grabbed too much brake and ate a whole bunch of **** right into the raised median. Thank God I'm still alive!!! Anyway, I really like all you guys on here, you all seem to have some great sense about your head and I want you all to continue to ride safe out there. Just remember that as cool as it is sometimes to gun it or swerve it or whatever, it only takes one time to end the whole "game" Thanks again guys!!

DAMN DUDE.

a moment of silence. Kinda got me speechless.
heal up man, get married and definataly hurry up and get up out the damn wheel chair.
you Bum!

as bad as it may seem, stories like yours stay in my head like 995 of the time i haul ass on the street. And that makes me think twice about doing it.

I so need to hit the track and stay there.
I need a new Job damn it.

Is the speedohealer and gear indicator still god on your bike, sell it seperately dude.
