it almost looks to me like the bike switched lanes infront of the van. moved from the right lane into his lane. the van in which was travelling too fast had nowhere to go, tried to miss him to the left but didn't suceed. no way of telling for sure.

After the van hit him, I didn't see any brake lights.
I think that van was gunna hit 'n run.

You can tell that the van was coming to a stop after they it. I believe that you can even see the hood fly open on impact.

Looks like the van tried to switch lanes to close to the biker. Was goin way to fast for that kind of traffic.

Looks to me like a divided highway in a country where they drive on the left side. If you look at opposing traffic it is moving quickly as well. Looks like the biker changed lanes in front of the van while he was on the brakes but its difficult to tell for sure. From the angle he was crossing the lane it doesnt appear like he was moving from one side of the lane to the other but from the far right lane across the lane he got hit in. I think its still riders fault though since the van driver had no where to go when presented with a slow moving object suddenly in their lane.

driving on the wrong side of the road? dude....the us and a hand ful of other countries are the only ones that drive on the right side of the road...everyone else is on the left.
its the other way around, a hand full of countries drive on the left side, the rest of the world drives on the right

I could be wrong but from the angle he was at he was cutting into that lane and didn't look back to see the minivan hauling ass.

It's gotta be fake though because they're driving on the wrong side of the road.
Fake? No, it is Europe..check out the Euro plates. The guy in the minivan rubber necked to the car on the side of the road and realized at the last second that the bike slowed down in front of him. He tried to make a quick lane change to avoid hitting the biker and clipped the rear end of the bike. That is indeed what happened and it happens all the time. We call it the mistake of the stupid rubber neckers. =-)
