I was trying to figure out, if your insurance classifies the 600RR as a superbike or a sportbike? I'm sure its a superbike but I dont want to believe...pay it
thanks

all depends.. you will hear all sorts of answers.. do a search for insurance...

depends on years you have had a bike license.. what part of US you live in, what company, whether or not you have policies with them... there are a ton of variables...what coverage...

i have full coverage.. comp/collision.. with $500 deductibles..through Progressive and i pay $1250 a year in insurance.

Age is a HUGE factor in most states too. I pay $150 for full coverage, I am 21. At 25, I pay $800 a yr for full coverage.

State Farm only cares about engine displacement, style doesn't matter.

I pay $218/yr for full coverage with $500 deductable and max liability on my '04 CBR600RR.

In Australia for a person under 25 who wants to insure a CBR600RR full coverage it costs $6539 USD for 1 year . Luckily im under my Mums name so it only costs me $1700 USD for 1 year.

holy bejezzus people. I go through USAA for my insurance and it's only $26 a month. That's full coverage, and underinsured drivers insurance included. If i total my bike they'll pay up to $10,000 for a new one.
