Hey CBR gods.
I was out for a great ride today with my good friend. About 2hrs in he signaled to me that my blinker wasn't working. The front blinker was but the rear was out, also no brake light. Any ideas where to start? Fuse? Where would this be located? The Honda dealership spliced into the the harness to put in new ID lights because I had a new FE. Would this have maybe caused a short?

Any helpful input is greatly appreciated.

I can pull it all apart and maybe track it down, but I am sure you guys might know the problem before I even start.

Thanks

The fuse box is under the left ram air cover for your bike. Replace the fuse and you should be good. If it blows again, you have a short in that circuit and need to find the fault and fix it.

I would take the fender eliminator apart to see how everything was wired up. Whoever did it could have done a crapped up job of it.

First time I re-did mine, I was shaking my head the whole time on the way it was just done half-assed. But I couldn't tell until I took it apart.

If you can't figure it out or fix it yourself, make them fix it. I'm sure they may have screwed it up.

well guys,
I just finished pulling the bike apart and putting it back together. I found the problem, the fuse was fine so I pulled the tail right off and volt tested all the connections. There was a little plug that was loose going from the light to the harness. Long story short, it works and I got to take a bunch of flaring off which I have never done before. It was a good experience.
Thanks for the help!

Also, the fuse box on my bike was actually under the left MID faring.
