Taking off a tank pad...

Question... once a tank pad has been put on a tank, is there any way to take it off without messing up the tank paint??? Help!!!

heat it with a hair drier and SLOWLY peel it off. A paint safe adheasive solvent will help IMMENCELY.

i just picked at it until i got a good grip on one of the corners and then just pull'd it right off.

Did it mess up the paint tho slim???

Yeah I did the same thing, but I had used a hair dryer to warm the glue up so it didn't impact the paint.

sorry for the late reply but nope. Just got some of my cleaner and wiped it down for my other tank pad.

Thanks guys... I think I'll try the hairdryer technique!
