It's common among the unskilled/untrained rider. Doesn't matter if you've been riding for 2 or 5 years. It can happen to you if you lack the above.

Best way to find out is ride the canyons and follow your buddy very closely. And if he falls and you follow then yeah, you have it....haha <---don't try that...haha I was just kidding.
