it dont matter, the raptor wouldve destroyed the tomcat with ease... i think the raptor is over mach 2+ as oppsoed to the tomcat mach 1.6-1.8+ so plus f22 hoover and its a bomber as well 3 into 1. also the harrier is gonna be gone, and whatever other bomber was in the list to be obsolite.

The tomcat entered service in 1972... not bad for a 34 year old plane!

Uhhh... Old news kids. The F14s were phased out of service years ago and replaced by Super Hornets.

The F-14D was scheduled for retirement in May 2006. Hmmm.. that would in fact be this year... not years ago.

"The final F-14A squadron was retired in 2004 and the last F-14B was removed from service in 2005. Only two squadrons of the F-14D remain operational and concluded the Tomcat's final combat tour in February 2006. The last F-14 squadron is currently scheduled to be retired and transition to the F-18F in May 2006."
